Male Infertility Treatment in Delhi
Full andrology assessment and treatment for low count, poor motility and abnormal morphology.
What male infertility treatment involves
Around four in ten couples who cannot conceive have a male factor contributing. A semen analysis takes two days and costs very little, which is why it should be done at the very start rather than after months of investigating the female partner.
Treatment depends on the cause. Varicocele, hormonal deficiency, infection and DNA fragmentation each have specific management. Where the problem cannot be corrected, ICSI with the sperm available is usually effective.
Who this is for
- Low sperm concentration, motility or normal morphology
- Azoospermia, whether obstructive or non-obstructive
- High sperm DNA fragmentation
- Varicocele, previous infection, or hormonal abnormality
Not everything on this list means you need this treatment. The workup comes first, and the recommendation follows from what it shows — not from what was booked before you arrived.
Step by step
Semen analysis
Performed to WHO criteria, repeated after an interval because single samples vary.
Cause-finding
Hormone profile, scrotal ultrasound, DNA fragmentation and genetic testing where indicated.
Correctable treatment
Varicocele repair, hormone therapy, infection treatment, antioxidants and lifestyle correction.
Assisted route
IUI, ICSI or surgical retrieval depending on what the parameters allow.
Your results, in writing
Whatever the outcome of male infertility treatment, you leave each stage with the findings written down — what was done, what was found, what it means, and what the options are from here. Reports are issued the same day wherever the laboratory allows it.
What is different about having this done here
Semen analysis included in the first workup as standard
Andrology lab on site with same-day reporting
Three months of correctable treatment attempted before escalating, where time allows
Male partner counselled directly, not through his wife
Treated by the consultant, not by a rotating team
Dr. Tiwari performs the scans, the procedure and the follow-up herself, and looks after any pregnancy that results. Over a long treatment course that continuity is the difference between being known and being processed.
- MBBS, MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology), FNB (Reproductive Medicine)
- Over ten years in reproductive medicine and gynaecological surgery
- Previous treatment records from other centres read in full
- Itemised costs given in writing before anything begins

Areas we see patients from
Both clinics are in South Delhi. Patients travelling from further out have appointments grouped to cut down the number of trips.
Questions about male infertility treatment
Can sperm count be improved?
Often, yes. Sperm take about 74 days to develop, so any intervention needs three months before it shows. Varicocele repair, treating infection, correcting hormone deficiency, stopping smoking and losing weight all help measurably.
Does a low count mean IVF is the only option?
No. It depends on the total motile count after washing. Mild reductions are often managed with IUI. Severe reductions need ICSI.
Talk it through before you commit
Consultations run for a full hour. Bring any previous reports — they are reviewed properly, not repeated.
