Antenatal & Pregnancy Care in Delhi
Complete pregnancy care from the positive test through to delivery, with one doctor throughout.
What antenatal & pregnancy care involves
Antenatal care is a schedule of visits, scans and blood tests designed to catch problems early — anaemia, gestational diabetes, blood pressure, growth restriction — at a stage where they can be managed rather than reacted to.
You see Dr. Tiwari at every visit. For women who conceived through IVF after a long struggle, that continuity matters more than any other single feature of care.
Who this is for
- Newly confirmed pregnancy, spontaneous or after IVF
- Pre-existing thyroid disease, diabetes or hypertension
- Previous caesarean, or previous pregnancy complications
- First pregnancy after 35
Not everything on this list means you need this treatment. The workup comes first, and the recommendation follows from what it shows — not from what was booked before you arrived.
Step by step
Booking visit
Dating scan, booking bloods, folic acid and a schedule mapped out for the whole pregnancy.
First trimester
NT scan and dual marker between 11 and 13 weeks, with NIPT discussed.
Second trimester
Anomaly scan at 18–20 weeks, glucose tolerance test and anaemia screening.
Third trimester

Your results, in writing
Whatever the outcome of antenatal & pregnancy care, you leave each stage with the findings written down — what was done, what was found, what it means, and what the options are from here. Reports are issued the same day wherever the laboratory allows it.
What is different about having this done here
The same consultant at every visit, including delivery
Scans performed in clinic rather than sent out
Post-IVF pregnancies monitored closely from the start
Written schedule so you know what happens when
Treated by the consultant, not by a rotating team
Dr. Tiwari performs the scans, the procedure and the follow-up herself, and looks after any pregnancy that results. Over a long treatment course that continuity is the difference between being known and being processed.
- MBBS, MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology), FNB (Reproductive Medicine)

- Previous treatment records from other centres read in full

Areas we see patients from
Both clinics are in South Delhi. Patients travelling from further out have appointments grouped to cut down the number of trips.
Questions about antenatal & pregnancy care
How many scans will I have?
Typically four in an uncomplicated pregnancy — dating, NT, anomaly and growth — with more where there is an indication.
Is IVF pregnancy different?
The pregnancy itself progresses the same way, but early support and monitoring are more intensive for the first trimester.
When should I book?
As soon as the test is positive. The dating scan is most accurate between 7 and 9 weeks.
Talk it through before you commit
Consultations run for a full hour. Bring any previous reports — they are reviewed properly, not repeated.
