Pregnancy Ultrasound & Scans in Delhi
Dating, NT, anomaly, growth and Doppler scans performed by the treating consultant.
What pregnancy ultrasound & scans involves
Each pregnancy scan answers specific questions at a specific gestation. The dating scan confirms viability and due date; the NT scan assesses chromosomal risk; the anomaly scan examines fetal structure in detail; growth scans track size and placental function.
Dr. Tiwari performs these scans herself, which means findings are explained during the scan rather than delivered days later in a report you cannot interpret.
Who this is for
- Confirming an early pregnancy and its due date
- First-trimester screening between 11 and 13 weeks
- Detailed anomaly assessment at 18–20 weeks
- Growth, liquor and Doppler assessment in the third trimester
Not everything on this list means you need this treatment. The workup comes first, and the recommendation follows from what it shows — not from what was booked before you arrived.
Step by step
Dating scan
7–9 weeks: viability, heartbeat, number of fetuses and accurate dating.
NT scan
11–13 weeks: nuchal translucency with dual marker for chromosomal risk.
Anomaly scan
18–20 weeks: a systematic structural survey of the fetus.
Growth and Doppler
From 28 weeks: estimated weight, amniotic fluid and umbilical artery flow.
Your results, in writing
Whatever the outcome of pregnancy ultrasound & scans, you leave each stage with the findings written down — what was done, what was found, what it means, and what the options are from here. Reports are issued the same day wherever the laboratory allows it.
What is different about having this done here
Scans performed by your own consultant, not a separate sonologist
Findings explained while you are in the room
PNDT-compliant — sex determination is illegal and is never done
Reports issued the same day
Treated by the consultant, not by a rotating team
Dr. Tiwari performs the scans, the procedure and the follow-up herself, and looks after any pregnancy that results. Over a long treatment course that continuity is the difference between being known and being processed.

Questions about pregnancy ultrasound & scans
Are ultrasounds safe in pregnancy?
Yes. Diagnostic obstetric ultrasound has been used for decades with no demonstrated harm.
Can you tell me the baby's sex?
No. Prenatal sex determination is a criminal offence in India under the PC-PNDT Act, and we comply with it absolutely.
Talk it through before you commit
Consultations run for a full hour. Bring any previous reports — they are reviewed properly, not repeated.
